Our approach uses a custom dictionary of action words, designed to store together words that share meaning, allowing for easy expansion of the vocabulary by adding more action words from a lexical database. We validate our Natural Language Robot Programming (NLRP) framework through simulation and real-world experimentation, using a Franka Panda robotic arm equipped with a calibrated camera-in-hand and a microphone. Participants were asked to complete a pick-and-place task using verbal commands, which were converted into text using Google's Speech-to-Text API and processed through the NLRP framework to obtain joint space trajectories for the robot. Our results indicate that our approach has a high system usability score. The framework's dictionary can be easily extended without relying on transfer learning or large data sets. In the future, we plan to compare the presented framework with different approaches of human-assisted pick-and-place tasks via a comprehensive user study.

It becomes increasingly crucial in the field of embodied AI, with potential applications in autonomous navigation, search and rescue, and human-robot interaction. In this paper, we propose to address a more practical yet challenging counterpart setting - vision-language navigation in continuous environments (VLN-CE). To develop a robust VLN-CE agent, we propose a new navigation framework, ETPNav, which focuses on two critical skills: 1) the capability to abstract environments and generate long-range navigation plans, and 2) the ability of obstacle-avoiding control in continuous environments. ETPNav performs online topological mapping of environments by self-organizing predicted waypoints along a traversed path, without prior environmental experience. It privileges the agent to break down the navigation procedure into high-level planning and low-level control. Concurrently, ETPNav utilizes a transformer-based cross-modal planner to generate navigation plans based on topological maps and instructions. The plan is then performed through an obstacle-avoiding controller that leverages a trial-and-error heuristic to prevent navigation from getting stuck in obstacles. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. ETPNav yields more than 10% and 20% improvements over prior state-of-the-art on R2R-CE and RxR-CE datasets, respectively. We propose an object-centric framework that leverages foundation models to ground the reference objects and spatial relations for placement, which is more sample efficient and generalizable. Experiments indicate that our model can achieve a 97.75% success rate of placement with only ~0.26M trainable parameters. Besides, our method generalizes better to both unseen objects and instructions. Moreover, with only 25% training data, we still outperform the top competing approach.

To make the problem even more realistic, how can we add and delete classes on the fly without retraining? This is the case of robotic applications where no datasets of the objects exist or application that includes thousands of objects (E.g., in logistics) where it is impossible to train a single model to learn all of the objects. Most current research on object segmentation for robotic grasping focuses on class-level object segmentation (E.g., box, cup, bottle), closed sets (specific objects of a dataset; for example, YCB dataset), or deep learning-based template matching. In this work, we are interested in open sets where the number of classes is unknown, varying, and without pre-knowledge about the objects' types. We consider each specific object as its own separate class. Our goal is to develop a zero-shot object detector that requires no training and can add any object as a class just by capturing a few images of the object. Our main idea is to break the segmentation pipelines into two steps by combining unseen object segmentation networks cascaded by zero-shot classifiers. We evaluate our zero-shot object detector on unseen datasets and compare it to a trained Mask R-CNN on those datasets. The results show that the performance varies from practical to unsuitable depending on the environment setup and the objects being handled. The code is available in our DoUnseen library repository.

In this survey paper, we discuss Embodied Vision-Language Planning (EVLP) tasks, a family of prominent embodied navigation and manipulation problems that jointly leverage computer vision and natural language for interaction in physical environments. We propose a taxonomy to unify these tasks and provide an in-depth analysis and comparison of the current and new algorithmic approaches, metrics, simulators, and datasets used for EVLP tasks. Finally, we present the core challenges that we believe new EVLP works should seek to address, and we advocate for task construction that enables model generalisability and furthers real-world deployment.

We also present an uncertainty propagation technique that is tightly integrated into att-CLFs. We demonstrate the effectiveness of att-CLFs via comparison with classical CLFs, model predictive control, and vanilla end-to-end learning in a photo-realistic simulator and on a real full-scale autonomous vehicle.

Obstacle avoidance and effective path planning require online dense reconstructions of the environment. Autonomous operation is central to environmental monitoring, marine archaeology, resource utilization, and underwater cave exploration. To address this problem, we propose to use SVIn2, a robust VIO method, together with a real-time 3D reconstruction pipeline. We provide extensive evaluation on four challenging underwater datasets. Our pipeline produces comparable reconstruction with that of COLMAP, the state-of-the-art offline 3D reconstruction method, at high frame rates on a single CPU.

Due to its relevance for runtime safety assurance and online control, PM methods need to be efficient to enable timely interventions against predicted violations, while providing correctness guarantees. We introduce \textit{quantitative predictive monitoring (QPM)}, the first PM method to support stochastic processes and rich specifications given in Signal Temporal Logic (STL). Unlike most of the existing PM techniques that predict whether or not some property $φ$ is satisfied, QPM provides a quantitative measure of satisfaction by predicting the quantitative (aka robust) STL semantics of $φ$. QPM derives prediction intervals that are highly efficient to compute and with probabilistic guarantees, in that the intervals cover with arbitrary probability the STL robustness values relative to the stochastic evolution of the system. To do so, we take a machine-learning approach and leverage recent advances in conformal inference for quantile regression, thereby avoiding expensive Monte-Carlo simulations at runtime to estimate the intervals. We also show how our monitors can be combined in a compositional manner to handle composite formulas, without retraining the predictors nor sacrificing the guarantees. We demonstrate the effectiveness and scalability of QPM over a benchmark of four discrete-time stochastic processes with varying degrees of complexity.

They are hard to control, however, due to high dimensionality, complex dynamics, and a coupled architecture. Physics-based simulation is a promising avenue for developing locomotion policies that can be transferred to real robots. Nevertheless, modeling tensegrity robots is a complex task due to a substantial sim2real gap. To address this issue, this paper describes a Real2Sim2Real (R2S2R) strategy for tensegrity robots. This strategy is based on a differentiable physics engine that can be trained given limited data from a real robot. These data include offline measurements of physical properties, such as mass and geometry for various robot components, and the observation of a trajectory using a random control policy. With the data from the real robot, the engine can be iteratively refined and used to discover locomotion policies that are directly transferable to the real robot. Beyond the R2S2R pipeline, key contributions of this work include computing non-zero gradients at contact points, a loss function for matching tensegrity locomotion gaits, and a trajectory segmentation technique that avoids conflicts in gradient evaluation during training. Multiple iterations of the R2S2R process are demonstrated and evaluated on a real 3-bar tensegrity robot.

We present ConDA, a concatenation-based domain adaptation framework for LiDAR segmentation that: 1) constructs an intermediate domain consisting of fine-grained interchange signals from both source and target domains without destabilizing the semantic coherency of objects and background around the ego-vehicle; and 2) utilizes the intermediate domain for self-training. To improve the network training on the source domain and self-training on the intermediate domain, we propose an anti-aliasing regularizer and an entropy aggregator to reduce the negative effect caused by the aliasing artifacts and noisy pseudo labels. Through extensive studies, we demonstrate that ConDA significantly outperforms prior arts in mitigating domain gaps.

    七、学习礼仪的心得和体会?

    在我看来,礼仪一方面是源于从小父母的教导,另一方面是生活中的观察总结。以下是我的心得体会,希望对你有所帮助:

    1、聚会离场时不用跟每个人道别,有点扫兴,而且你又不是国家元帅,跟主人和特别熟的说一声就行了。同样,在自己朋友圈下别说“统一回复”,说声“谢谢”就好,ok?

    2、吃饭的时候,可以说“要米饭吗?”。如果说“要饭吗?”就尴尬了。

    3、借别人钱主动提出打借条,哪怕别人表示不需要,你也要表达这个意愿。

    4、微信语音只适用于撩妹和闲聊,其他尽量少用。工作中碰到喜欢发语音的同事,真的想打人。

    5、酒桌上用牙签一定要用另一只手遮挡下,否则很不雅观。

    6、给别人递剪刀等尖锐物品时,记得尖端对着自己递人,这样比较暖心。

    7、拨通电话的过程中,不要和旁边的人说话,接电话的人如果听到你还在聊天会感觉很不被尊重。

    8、请人吃饭前问不吃什么比问喜欢吃什么更有礼貌。

    9、夹菜时不要翻也不要挑,大大方方地夹;另外把碗里菜吃完再夹,不要“囤货”,否则吃相很难看。

    10、上了新菜,主动转桌让领导、长辈、宾客先吃;有人在夹菜而另一个人在转桌时,主动帮忙按停。

    11、拿餐巾时主动先递给身边的人。

    12、有领导和长辈在场时,坐椅子不要太随意,坐一半留一半,背挺直,表示尊敬。

    13、在不熟悉的人面前不要轻易表达极端的观点,比如我很讨厌XX/我觉得XX是错的...你讨厌的可能是别人在意的,结果会让对方不愉快。

    14、同事之间不要太亲近,哪怕你们关系再好也尽量不要勾肩搭背,有人就是不喜欢身体接触。

    15、我一直认为对服务员说“麻烦”和“谢谢”是一个人基本的教养。

    16、群里抢到大红包最好也发个,至少也要说声“谢谢老板”,只进不出的人通常不受欢迎。

    17、主动自报姓名。常见的错误是

    A:你好,我叫王宇。

    B:你好,初次见面,请多指教。

    A:请问我该如何称呼你?

    B:我叫李祥。

    每次让人问你“如何称呼”是麻烦别人,主动自报家门吧。

    关于礼仪的学习,小时的教育很重要,成年后的观察、自我总结同样也很重要。

    八、学习通的课程会提前结课吗?

    不会。课程都是按照进度安排设置好了具体的学习时间段,不会提前结束,按照时间节点完成学习才有资格获取期末考试资格,而且对学习时间都有要求,刷课会影响学习效果。同时在线学习也计入平时成绩,还要按时完成作业,这些都是必须在规定时间内完成。

    九、学习旅游资源鉴赏这门课的体会?

    在旅游的过程中要学会资源鉴赏。这样我们才会有效的利用这些资源更好地搞好旅游,更吸引游客。也把资源利用起来。让更多的游客在游玩的过程中学习到更多的人文地理知识。加深我们对旅游的理解和记忆。

    十、体教融合的总结和体会?

    体教融合是目标,也是路径。打破部门界限,推动“以心相融”,一些看似棘手的问题,也不难找到令各方满意的解决方案

    促进青少年健康发展,体教融合是个热词。

    体教融合是目标,也是路径。从教育和体育各自的视野观察,目前存在的问题至少有这样两个方面:一是面向全体学生的体育教育不足,另一个是面向竞技体育后备人才培养的文化教育不足。

    而解决问题的思路,则需要将体育和教育的视野“合二为一”。从健康第一的教育理念出发,由意识融合到资源整合,再到全新的“系统集成”,浙江绍兴近些年的探索,给出了启示。

    从破解问题入手,是绍兴推进体教融合的基本思路。教练员资源、学校师资、场地设施如何整合,参赛资格、运动员注册体系和竞赛体系如何打通,都是体教融合过程中普遍存在的难点和堵点。绍兴市出台文件,明确了学生体育赛事由教育和体育部门共同组织,整合两部门现有青少年体育赛事资源,建立分学段、跨区域的四级青少年体育赛事体系,共同完善相关评价奖励机制。这些措施,对于引导体育和教育部门将视野“合二为一”,形成合力,有着庖丁解牛般的精准把握。

    绍兴文化底蕴深厚,培养“文武双全”的孩子,是学校、家庭和社会共同的心愿。近些年,绍兴市体育局和教育局联合命名体育传统项目学校,在学校中设立竞技体育业余训练点,或者干脆将“市队县办”项目落户到校园中。既建立起了“阳光体育系列赛”这样面向全体学生的校园赛事,也吸引了中国女排前主教练俞觉敏回到家乡担任市排球队总教练,从小学到初中建立起一条龙培养体系。

    不离开校园,一样能成为运动健将,这是绍兴建设新型体校的心得。新型体校“新”在培养全面发展的人才,排球队的孩子在参加省青少年比赛时,赛前文化测试平均分超过90分;射击步枪队进驻柯桥区华舍中学,不但向省队和国家队输送了数十名队员,还有几名同学被清华大学录取。这样的例子,对推进体教融合形成正向循环,自然是积极的示范。

    从孩子成长的角度去看待问题,拿出对策,这是体教融合最根本的指向。这也意味着,打破部门界限,推动“以心相融”,一些看似棘手的问题,也不难找到令各方满意的解决方案。绍兴的体教融合之路,由此打开了可持续发展的空间,也打开了值得观察借鉴的一扇窗。
